Exam time!

Exam time has arrived. Funnily enough I'm not that nervous, I feel well prepared and feel it should be alright, and once it's all over I can sit back relax and chill in the sun! ( I only have one exam ya see) . As for my job search I have updated my CV and printed off about a dozen off them so after my exam I'm gonna start handing them out around Upper and Lower Hutt and Wellington. Surely someone has to give me a job, surely. I'll update you all and let you know how my exam went.

On a completely different note I tookt he same Simpsons quiz that Lisa did and I got 73%! which gives me the title of Smart Simpson! oh yeah, do the happy dance.

Job-alicious

I want a new job. It's not that I hate my current job, it's just that it is not the most exciting thing to do. It's not the hardest thing in the world either, pump gas here, collect money there, steal chocolate from out the back (just kidding, stealing is a crime! a damn dirty crime!). So I would really like something that was a bit more fun. What I would really like is to work in a CD Store like Sounds or The CD Store, that would be great. Listening to music all day, not having to wear an ugly green and red uniform, knowing when all my favourite bands were releasing their new CD's, staff discount (surely), closing up at 5 instead of working til 8 or 10 at night. Perfect. So I'm always on the lookout for positions in one of these stores, who knows I might get lucky. If anyone sees an ad please tell me, unless of course you take the job yourself, you greedy greedy thief you, what did I say about stealing?! And i would then be free of Michael. For those of you who don't often visit Caltex Upper Hutt between 4 and 10 on a weeknight, which i assume is probably most of you, you would not have experienced the dillusional idiot that is Michael Anderson. This man annoys the hell out of me. He is 40 years old, has a degree in engineering, supposedly, and yet he works at a petrol station where I might add that he thinks he is important even going so far as to call himself the "evening manager". If you ever encounter him you will know how I feel.
Speaking of my job I spose I had better go and get ready. time to pull on that lovely green and red uniform, smile politely and ask what pump someone's petrol was at because I was too busy dreaming about working somewhere else to notice which car they came from.

(Sigh) Think of the money, think of the money.

Grrr Agitation.

Grrr. I'm so agitated at the moment, I've spent the last 20 or so minutes trying to get links to other peoples blogs going but it doesn't seem to work, It works in the preview but as soon as I go to my blog, boom they're gone again. Grrr. But anyway, enough about that.

Last night I went to an 18th party, and I hate to say it but I felt too old. All the kids there I hadn't seen since I was in 7th form and they were in 5th form, I know it's not that big a difference but as I stood there with Steph and Aidan, i felt like we stuck out like a sore thumb. Which made me think about what I am actually going to do with my life, with my second year of uni under my belt really I only have one year left. I know it's going to be something that involves english and writing but I just don't know, Journalism would always be very interesting and rewarding but I'm still not sure. I guess I still have a while to think about it so the old brain will have to be working over time. Time goes so quickly now it's crazy, i can't believe we're in october and soon I'll have to be thinking about christmas presents aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! But tomorrow is one of the best day's of the year in my opinion and all the motorheads would agree with me, tomorrow is the Great Race, the one and only Bathurst 1000, 161 laps of the greatest racing track in the world. I'm putting my money on Lowndes, go Lowndesy! All right that's enough wanking on about a car race. But believe me, I can't wait.

Gentlemen, start your engines!

I am now a blogger, thanks to Lisa

Hello all,

After reading Lisa's blog I quite liked the idea of having my own. I got the name of my Blog from a song by Trapt, i really like the song and I really like the lyric so I thought hey why not. I don't really have alot to share today as it is just a lazy friday, although uni is over for the year (woohoo!) except for my whole one, that's right just one, exam in a months time (how the hell am I meant to stay motivated for a month? a whole month!) Dad and I are just about to go out and look at cars cos he wants to buy one soon, we're gonna go look at a Mazda 6. If anyone else has any suggestions as to what he should get let me know (within reason of course, we'd all love a Jaguar or an Aston Martin but it's just not gonna happen).

Well that's all for now, I'll let you know how we get on and what else is happening in the exciting world that is my life, in a short while.
